Ⅰ．はじめに

　小児期に認められる脊髄疾患の多くは先天異常を背景にしており，複数の関連した病態を認めることも少なくない．そのため疾患概念とその病態の理解が診断・治療に不可欠となる．

　本稿では，代表的な小児脊髄疾患であるキアリ奇形，二分脊椎（開放性二分脊椎，潜在性二分脊椎），脊髄空洞症の病態，特徴，画像診断における注意点を述べ，手術手技を中心に治療法を示す．
