Ⅰ．はじめに

　脳卒中，特に脳梗塞では血管を閉塞する病的血栓が病態の主役であることは論をまたない．しかし，その血栓の組成は均質ではなく，症例によって大きく異なることはあまり理解されていない．その血栓の組成の違いに大きく関わっているのが血小板の動静である．本稿では，血小板を中心に脳梗塞における血栓止血学的側面を概説する．
