Ⅰ.はじめに
 画像診断装置の普及や,わが国独自の診療形態である脳ドックの発達などから,無症候性脳血管病変が発見されることが多くなってきた.無症候性であるがゆえにデータの収集が難しく,未だにエビデンスが十分であるとはいえないが,最近は報告が蓄積されてきた.ここでは無症候性脳梗塞,大脳白質病変,無症候性脳出血,無症候性頭蓋内および頭蓋外主幹動脈狭窄/閉塞,無症候性脳動静脈奇形(arteriovenous malformation:AVM),未破裂脳動脈瘤に分けて,既存のガイドラインよりも後に報告された事項を加味して概説する.
