Ⅰ．はじめに
　神経細胞・混合神経膠細胞系腫瘍（neuronal and mixed neuronal-glial tumors）は，稀少疾患であり，脳腫瘍全国集計調査報告第13版（2001-2004）³⁸⁾によれば，原発性脳腫瘍の1%程度を占めるにすぎない．ただし小児期のてんかんで発症することが多いため，脳腫瘍外科医のみならず，てんかん外科医により治療される機会も多い疾患である．その病理組織は多岐にわたっており，正確な診断はしばしば困難な疾患群である．本稿ではneuronal and mixed neuronal-glial tumorsの各分類，最新の知見を紹介する．
