Point
・感染性の髄膜炎，脳炎，脊髄炎などの中枢神経系感染症は，迅速かつ適切な治療開始が患者の予後の上から重要であり，時間単位の対応を要する神経学的緊急事態（neurological emergency）である．
・頭部外傷や脳室内ドレナージやシャントなどを受けた患者の細菌性髄膜炎では，耐性ブドウ球菌が多く，「メロペネム＋バンコマイシン」が推奨される．
・稀ではあるが，脳神経外科領域の術後に単純ヘルペス脳炎が発症する場合がある．
