・わが国の脳神経外科手術では,周術期手術部位感染に対しガイドラインが遵守されていない施設もあり周知と対策が必要である.
・脳神経外科領域の『術後感染予防抗菌薬適正使用のための実践ガイドライン』が発行された.
・術後感染予防抗菌薬の投与はできる限り24時間以内とし,長くても48時間は超えないようにする.
