Point
・脳梁離断術は薬剤抵抗性の主に全般起始発作を有するてんかん患者が対象で,転倒発作の有無は問わない.
・てんかん発作の緩和目的で行われることが多いが,迷走神経刺激治療よりも治療効果は高い.
・特に小児においては,治療効果や認知面での改善が期待でき,脳梁離断症状が問題となることはほぼない.
