・未破裂脳動脈瘤は原則無症候性疾患であるため,治療適応の見極めが大切である.
・治療の目的は破裂予防と患者の精神的負担の軽減である.そのため,手術適応の1つの指標は医師-患者間の良好な関係を築くことが大前提である.また,脳血管内治療は再発・再治療の可能性がある治療のため,長期的に患者をフォローできることが必要である.
・脳血管内治療が「可能」であることと「向いている」ということは相違するため,根治的な視点で治療方針を決定する必要がある.
