子宮癌

サマリー

　子宮癌は性質の異なる子宮頸癌(頸癌)と子宮体癌(体癌)とに二分される．頸癌はHPV(human papillomavirus，ヒトパピローマウイルス)感染が発症原因であり，子宮がん検診の普及や近年の生活習慣の変化により症例の若年化とともに早期癌症例が増加している．一方，体癌の発生にはエストロゲンが関与している．食生活の欧米化や高齢化により近年増加傾向にあり，2003年には浸潤子宮癌の45％を占めるほどになった．両疾患とも初発症状は不正性器出血であり，早期癌であれば完治する可能性が高い．スクリーニング検査としては細胞診が有効である．腫瘍マーカーは治療効果の判定や再発の診断に有用である．また，PETを含む近年の画像診断の進歩は著しく，診断精度の向上や治療の補助として役立っている．
