1. 閉塞性睡眠時無呼吸症候群の基礎と臨床

はじめに

　閉塞性睡眠時無呼吸症候群(obstructive sleep apnea syndrome，OSAS)はよくみられる疾患であり，社会的にも認知されつつある．日中の眠気を起こすことはよく知られているが，大部分が睡眠不足である社会において本人の自覚症状は乏しい．しかしながら，潜在する患者に対して診断，治療を行う必要性は高い．あまりにもよくみられるため他の身体疾患，精神疾患に併発して存在することがあり，それらの増悪因子となっていることもある．
