糖鎖を介したT細胞のホーミングとその臨床的意義

はじめに

　糖鎖抗原は，蛋白質と同じく重要な分化抗原であり機能分子である．ABO(H)式などの血液型物質およびCA19-9などの腫瘍マーカーとして，糖鎖抗原が臨床検査の分野で活用されている．近年では，機能分子としての糖鎖抗原の重要性が理解され，HCDM1(human cell differentiation molecules，2006，Quebec)までのワークショップではCD(cluster of differentiation)分類にいくつかの糖鎖抗原が追加された．白血球の分化抗原にはCD15，CDw17，CD57，CD60a～c，CDw65，CD75，CD173～176など，これまでに十種類以上の糖鎖抗原が含まれている．そのほとんどは生理的機能が解明されていないが，CD15s分子群だけは例外である．本稿では，糖鎖分子の発現調節による細胞選別機構と細胞動態様式について概説する．
