小児基礎脳波

はじめに

　乳児期から小児期にかけて脳神経系には，脳重量の急激な増加や，髄鞘化の進展などの著しい発達がみられる．これを反映して脳波像にも著明な発達的変化が認められる^1～6）ため，小児脳波の判読には年齢的変化に関する知識が必須である．

　脳波は発達を示すため，正常の基準がそれぞれの月年齢で変化し，正常・異常の判定が成人よりも困難であり，各月年齢での正常状態を把握する必要がある．未熟児や新生児では，頭囲が小さく通常の国際10-20電極法の電極配置が困難な場合，電極数を減らした特殊な配置を行うこともある(図1)．またポリグラフィとして，眼球運動，呼吸，心電図，筋電図などを同時に記録する^8）．
