ABC検診

はじめに

　新しい胃癌検診方法として，Helicobacter pylori抗体とペプシノゲン(pepsinogen，PG)法を組み合わせたABC検診は，胃癌の危険の高い人(胃癌になりやすい人)を絞り込むことができる方法である．この方法の最大の特徴は，血液検査であることから，簡単に誰でも，どこの施設(内視鏡などの設備がない施設)でも行うことが可能なことである．この方法により，効率よくX線検査や内視鏡検査によって胃癌を発見することが可能となる．このABC検診の有用性に関して，胃癌，H. pylori感染，萎縮性胃炎，PGの関係を含めながら説明する．
