微少残存白血病の検出法

新しい知見

急性白血病の治療効果を判定するのに，血液や骨髄の塗抹標本を鏡検して，残存白血病細胞を計測する方法では，残存白血病細胞が1％以下になると正確な判定は難しい．また，慢性骨髄性白血病では正常細胞と白血病細胞とを細胞形態で区別することは不可能である．近年，遺伝子検査法を用いることにより，正常細胞10万個のなかに入っている1個の白血病細胞を検出することができるようになった．これにより，より厳密な治療効果の判定ができる．
