はじめに

　僧帽弁閉鎖不全症（mitral regurgitation：MR）診断において心エコー図で評価すべきポイントは，①成因・形態評価，②重症度評価，③血行動態評価である．本稿では，MRの成因を判断し，MR重症度評価を行う際に必要な定量方法のポイントについて概説する．
