加熱式たばこに含まれる有害物質

はじめに
　たばこ産業は，たばこの有害性の認識が広がり，さまざまなたばこ対策が実施されると，それらに抗して，いかにも有害性が低いかのようなメッセージとともに新しい製品群を開発し販売・宣伝活動を繰り返してきた歴史がある．2020年の東京オリンピック・パラリンピックに向けて2018年に健康増進法が改正され，受動喫煙対策の義務化が図られているが，最近，加熱式たばこをはじめとした新しい製品群の販売が急拡大している^1)〜3)．これまでも現在の加熱式たばこの原型となるものは繰り返し販売が試みられてきたが，市場の確保には至らなかった．現在，国内では加熱式たばこの喫煙風景をごく普通に見かける状況になっているが，世界的にはまだ限定された販売となっている．これら製品群は販売から間もないため，発がんを含めた長期的な影響は不明である．そのため，これら製品群から発生する有害化学物質濃度や，それらが生体に取り込まれたのち代謝排泄されるバイオマーカーを評価することでリスク推定がされることが多い．
