【ポイント】
◆高齢者における口腔の健康と全身の健康の間には「口腔疾患・歯の喪失→摂食嚥下機能の低下→栄養・食生活への悪影響→フレイル」という経路が存在する．
◆歯科治療と栄養指導を組み合わせることで，摂食嚥下機能の改善のみならず，健康な食行動の獲得，栄養状態の改善につながる可能性が示されている．
◆歯科と栄養が連携することで摂食嚥下機能・栄養の改善を通じたフレイル予防が期待できる．
