ヒトパピローマウイルス（HPV）ワクチン

1．当該疾患の発生動向
　ヒトパピローマウイルス（以下、HPV）は、全女性の約50-80%が一生に一度は感染している^1）。年齢別の日本女性におけるHPV-DNA検査の陽性率は、10歳代が最も高率で30-40%にも及ぶ。その後、20歳代で20-30%、30歳代で10-20%、40歳代で5-10%、と年齢とともにDNA陽性率は見かけ上は減少する^2）。
　HPVには200種以上の遺伝子型（以下、タイプ）がある。子宮頸がんにおけるHPVタイプの分布は、HPV16型が約半数を占め、二番目に多いHPV18型は10-20%程度である。HPV45、31、33型がこれに続いている。その結果、子宮頸がん全体の約70%はHPV16、18型に起因する^3）。
