ポイント
◆欧州連合における公衆衛生分野の取り組みは1980年代から本格化し、WHO欧州地域事務局や欧州公衆衛生協会などと協働して実施されてきた。
◆欧州公衆衛生協会の機関ジャーナル「European Journal of Public Health」では1990年代から幅広い公衆衛生のトピックについて官民の情報交換がなされてきた。
◆欧州ではCOVID-19の経験から電子化された保健・医療データをより安全に統合し、保健・医療の改善と公衆衛生上の脅威への対応に活用する取り組みが始まっている。
