Posner-Schlossman症候群

はじめに

　米国のAdolph PosnerとAbraham Schlossman^1）は1948年，片眼性・再発性の虹彩毛様体炎を伴う一過性高眼圧症例9例を報告し，原発緑内障と続発緑内障の中間ともいえる疾患であると考えglaucomatocyclitic crisisという概念を提唱した（図1）。これが今日Posner-Schlossman症候群と呼ばれているものである。基本概念は現在もそのまま受け入れられており，片眼性，再発性虹彩毛様体炎を伴う急激な眼圧上昇が特徴である。本病は最初に米国で報告された疾患ではあるが，白人より日本人で高頻度にみられるため^2），日本における内眼炎診療では常に念頭におかなければならない重要な疾患である。
