多発消失性白点症候群

はじめに

　多発消失性白点症候群（multiple evanescent white dot syndrome：以下，MEWDS）は，眼底に一過性の白点が生じる原因不明の網脈絡膜症である^1,2）。白点症候群（white dot syndrome）の代表的疾患であるとともに^3），急性帯状潜在性網膜外層症（acute zonal occult outer retinopathy：以下，AZOOR）の類縁疾患，いわゆるAZOOR complexの1つでもある^4）。それらを鑑別するうえで，この疾患の臨床像を正確に把握することは重要である。
