はじめに

　眼内炎は眼疾患の中で最も緊急性を要する疾患の1つである。術後に生じる眼内炎の場合，医療訴訟の問題とも絡むため慎重に，かつ迅速・的確に対処すべき疾患である。いざという時がいつ訪れるかわからないだけに，常日頃から眼内炎に遭遇した場合の対処法について理解を深めておく必要がある。
