眼底写真の使い方

はじめに

　近年，光干渉断層計（OCT），Heidelberg Retina Tomograph（HRT），GDxに代表される眼底画像解析装置の進歩はめざましく，単に緑内障診断の補助機器としてではなく，視神経乳頭の構造異常を判定するのに必要不可欠な検査になりつつある。しかしながら経験を積んだ眼科医による眼底写真の読影は，今日でも最も検出力が優れた眼底検査法とされ，定性的ではあるが基本的な標準検査として，今後も広く活用されていくものと思われる。

　本項では，最先端の診断機器にいくぶん押され気味であるものの，依然として最も普及している眼底検査法として，眼底写真をいかに日々の緑内障診療に有効利用していくべきか，その活用法と留意点について解説していきたい。
