高齢者正常眼圧緑内障患者の視野障害とQOL

要約　目的：高齢者正常眼圧緑内障（NTG）患者がquality of life（QOL）を維持するのに必要な視野の報告。対象と方法：65歳以上のNTG患者231名を対象とし，視力と視野に障害がない高齢者67名を対照とした。アンケートによりQOLをVFQ-25で調査した。視野はHumphrey視野計のmean deviationで評価した。結果：視野がよい眼では－6dB以下，視野が悪い眼では－12dB以下になるとQOLが有意に低下した。視野がよい眼では，下半視野の障害がQOL低下を起こした。ベストロケーション法では，下半視野が－9dB以下になるとQOLが低下した。結論：高齢者のQOLを維持するには，視野のよい眼では－6dB以内，悪い眼では－12dB以上に保つ必要がある。
