ヌンチャク型シリコーンチューブを用いた小児の難治性鼻涙管閉塞症の治療成績

要約　目的：プロービングで症状が改善しない小児の鼻涙管閉塞症にヌンチャク型シリコーンチューブ（N-ST）で治療した成績の報告。対象と方法：過去5年問にN-STで治療した鼻涙管閉塞症13例を対象とした。男児10例，女児3例で，年齢は7か月～10歳（平均37か月）である。鼻涙管閉塞は先天性9例，後天性4例であった。結果：N-STの留置期間は約2か月であり，合併症はなかった。全例で流涙，眼脂，涙液メニスカス上昇などの鼻涙管閉塞症状が，自覚的および他覚的に改善した。結論：乳幼児の難治性鼻涙管閉塞に対し，シリコーンチューブ留置術は有用である。
