はじめに

　白内障手術における術前投薬と術前処置の目的は，いかに安全に白内障手術を終えるか，という一点にある。安全に手術を終えるためには，

　1）手術中に全身的な問題が起こらないようにすること

　2）白内障手術の妨げになる眼科的疾患を除去し，安全に手術を行える眼の状態にすること

　3）術後眼内炎の発症を予防すること

　の3点が必要で，これを達成するために，安全で効果的な術前準備を行わなければならない。以下にこれらについて検証し，術前投薬と処置について考える。
