滲出型加齢黄斑変性に対する光線力学療法の長期治療成績

要約　目的：滲出型加齢黄斑変性（AMD）に対する光線力学療法（PDT）の長期成績の報告。対象と方法：AMDに対してPDTを行い，4年以上の経過を追った42例42眼を対象とした。男性36例，女性6例で，年齢は50～86歳（平均71歳）である。28例には狭義のAMD，14例にはポリープ状脈絡膜血管症（PCV）があった。結果：視力の維持または改善は，1年後には31眼（74％），4年後には25眼（61％）にあった。狭義AMDとPCVとで，治療成績に有意差はなかった（p＞0.05）。治療後6か月以内の再発は，狭義のAMD群で有意に多かった（p＝0.047）。結論：AMDに対するPDTの成績は治療1年後では高いが，4年後には低下する。日本人のAMDに対するPDTの効果は必ずしも良好でない。
