以前の常識

●ポリープ状脈絡膜血管症は加齢黄斑変性に含まれる特殊型である。

●予後良好例が多く，治療は光線力学的療法が最適である。

現在の常識

●ポリープ状脈絡膜血管症は日本人の加齢黄斑変性の最も主要な病型である。

●治療は光線力学的療法だけでなく，抗VEGF剤を併用することを考慮する。
