はじめに

　脈絡膜悪性黒色腫は欧米と比較してわが国では頻度は低いものの，中高年に多い眼内悪性腫瘍の代表的疾患である。生命予後については年齢，腫瘍サイズ，組織型，強膜浸潤の有無など多くの予後因子が報告されているが，近年ではこれらの予後因子に加え，遺伝子や染色体異常のパターンを考慮した総合的判断が重要となっている。
