AZOORとその近縁疾患

　AZOORは，眼底が正常であるにもかかわらず急激に視力低下や視野欠損をおこす網膜疾患である。眼底が正常であるために，視神経炎や頭蓋内疾患と間違えられやすい。近視を有する若年女性に好発し，発症初期に光視症を伴うことが多い。確定診断には，網膜電図と光干渉断層計が特に有用である。AZOORの病因は不明であるが，自己免疫とウイルスの関与が示唆されている。重症のAZOORにステロイドや抗ヘルペス薬が奏効したという報告があるが，確立された治療法はないのが現状である。
