緑内障患者のdriving performanceにおけるvisual field indexとquality of visionの関連

要約　目的：緑内障患者の自覚的運転能力と，視野と視覚の質との関連の報告。対象と方法：自動車を日常的に運転し，通院中の緑内障患者36名を対象とした。男性25名，女性11名で，年齢は41～86歳，平均61歳である。運転能力はアンケート，視野はHumphrey視野計のVFI，視覚の質はNEIのVFQ-25で評価した。左右眼の視野に差があるときには，VFIが良好な眼の値を採用した。結果：運転能力とVFIには有意の相関があり（r＝－0.40，p＜0.05），日中よりも薄暮と夜間の相関が有意に高値であった（ともにp＜0.001）。運転能力の総得点と視覚の質は有意に相関し（r＝－0.49，p＜0.01），遠見視力，周辺視力，運転とも相関した。結論：緑内障患者の自覚的運転能力は優位眼のVFIと関連がある。アンケートとVFIは本研究に有用であった。
