白内障手術後の黄斑色素密度変化

文献購入ページに移動 白内障手術で透明眼内レンズを挿入した症例の約70%に,術後1年目で黄斑色素密度の減少があった。2年後はさらに低下した。青色光をカットする黄色着色眼内レンズ挿入例でも,程度は軽いが術後2年目に黄斑色素密度の低下があった。眼内レンズはヒト水晶体よりも光透過性が高いので,術後の網膜は強い光に晒される。このことが青色光に対する防御システムである黄斑色素を減少させる要因ではないかと推測した。
