糖尿病黄斑浮腫の治療のコツ

文献概要

　高血糖による網膜微小循環の障害に引き続く組織虚血，新生血管の発症，そして線維血管増殖膜の進展に至る増殖糖尿病網膜症については，網膜光凝固や硝子体手術といった眼科的治療の進歩によって視機能の温存が可能になってきた。一方で，視機能中心である黄斑部に浮腫をきたす病態である糖尿病黄斑浮腫については，その治療法はおろか原因さえ不明な点が多い。本稿では糖尿病黄斑浮腫の治療についての現況を紹介し，今後の提言も含めて論じてみたい。
