日本の介護老人保健施設における眼疾患に関する検討

要約　目的：在宅医療の前段階である介護老人保健施設の眼疾患の実態を調査すること。対象および方法：介護老人保健施設において同意の得られた症例29例58眼（男性5例，女性24例），平均年齢84.6±9.1歳を対象に眼鏡の有無の問診と眼科一般検査を行った。結果：外眼部疾患6眼（10.3％），白内障は31眼（53％）に認めた。後眼部疾患は，緑内障（疑いを含む）30眼（52％），その他7眼（12％），異常なし21眼（36％）であった。健眼視力が0.5未満かつ0.1を超える症例は6例（20.7％），0.1以下の症例は2例（6.9％）であった。結論：介護老人保健施設入所者には，高い割合で眼疾患があり在宅医療を含めたスクリーニングが必要と思われた。
