POINT

■角膜内皮炎において，ヘルペス感染既往や角膜知覚低下，ステロイド単独治療への反応性などがヘルペス治療の必要性を示唆する所見となる。

■ヘルペス性角膜内皮炎の診断は，PCRによる前房水からのヘルペスウイルスDNAの同定が有効である。

■治療にはステロイドによる消炎に加えて，ヘルペスウイルスの種類に応じた抗ヘルペスウイルス薬の選択が必要である。
