POINT

■バックル感染は，早期感染と晩期感染に分けられる。

■早期感染の予防は，ヨウ素系消毒薬による術野の洗浄である。

■晩期感染の予防は，バックルの確実な縫着，テノン囊や結膜の密な縫合である。

■早期感染ではバックル除去，晩期感染では露出したバックルを早期に抜去する。

■バックル除去後の，再網膜剝離のリスクは少ない。
