以前の常識

　●以前，ドライアイの病態として「眼表面摩擦」という概念は一般臨床において広く浸透していなかった。

現在の常識

　●現在，ドライアイの病態の1つとして，瞬目に伴う「眼表面摩擦」亢進が注目されるようになってきた。

　●眼表面摩擦関連疾患の病態は複合的で，上輪部角結膜炎（SLK），リッドワイパー結膜上皮症（LWE），糸状角膜炎などがあり，治療には，ドライアイ治療薬のレバミピド点眼薬（ムコスタ^®点眼薬）やジクアホソル点眼薬（ジクアス^®点眼薬）が有効である。
