●特発性黄斑円孔は65歳以上の女性に好発する網膜硝子体界面症候群の1つである。

●光干渉断層計の進化により特発性黄斑円孔の病態が明らかになった。

●後部硝子体剝離の発生機序を理解することが特発性黄斑円孔の病態理解に重要である。
