ファージを用いた細菌性眼内炎治療

　多くの眼疾患のなかでも術後眼内炎は，われわれ眼科医にとっては最も避けるべき疾患の1つである。近年，薬剤耐性菌による眼内炎の報告もあり，抗菌薬とは異なる新しい治療薬の開発が求められる。本稿では，眼内炎に対する新規治療法として，バクテリオファージによる眼内炎治療の可能性について概説する。
