—近視そのものが失明を起こす—病的近視—緑内障の診断

◆病的近視は，さまざまな形状の視神経乳頭や乳頭周囲の構造変化を伴い，時に特徴的な視野異常を呈し，また近視性黄斑症に伴う視野障害との鑑別にも注意を要する。

◆検眼鏡所見に加え，眼底写真やOCT解析を活用した視神経乳頭および網膜神経線維層の評価と，静的視野検査とともに動的視野検査やマイクロペリメータを併用した視野所見との総合的な評価が重要である。
