増殖性硝子体網膜症（グレードB以上），巨大裂孔，脈絡膜剝離，低眼圧を伴うcomplex型裂孔原性網膜剝離（RRD）は網膜復位率と関連します．Non-complex型RRDかつ50歳未満の有水晶体眼または多発裂孔を呈するとき，経毛様体扁平部硝子体切除術を選択すると再手術率を高める可能性があります．
