ここが変わった！

以前の常識

・萎縮型加齢黄斑変性には治療法がなく，病変が拡大するのをみているしかなかった．

・高齢者でドルーゼンを伴う萎縮性病変があれば加齢黄斑変性とされた．

現在の常識

・欧米で補体阻害薬が地図状萎縮の進行を遅らせる薬剤として承認され，使われている．

・ドルーゼンを伴う網膜ジストロフィも少なくない．
