芸術表現領域における熟達化

　ヒトが特定の領域に習熟して専門家へと成長していく熟達化の過程については，これまで心理学・認知科学において広く検討がなされてきた。特に，教師・コーチによって“丁寧に構造化された練習（あるいは，系統的訓練）”の蓄積の重要性を主張するdeliberate practice theory^1）が近年の著名な理論の一つとして挙げられる。では，芸術創作を代表とする創造活動領域における熟達化の過程も同様の理論で説明可能であろうか。本稿では，創造活動の有する特徴を概観し，その熟達過程において重要と考えられる要因の抽出を目指す。
