費用対効果分析における技術の外部性—感染症疫学モデルの利用

●費用対効果分析では，医療技術の導入が社会全体に与える効果とかかる費用とを比較する．
●感染症に関わる医療技術，例えばワクチンの費用対効果分析では，その技術が生み出す「外部性」を分析に考慮する必要がある．
●ワクチンから生み出される外部性の大きさは，疾病の特性に加えて，ワクチン接種率に依存する性質があり，その性質を記述するために感染症の動的な疫学モデルが有用である．
