■はじめに
　筆者らは2002年頃からコーチングを研究テーマとして，その構造と機能の解明，医療への応用に取り組んできた．図1^1〜7）にそれらの研究の歴史を示す．患者をクライアントとしたコーチング，および保健・医療・福祉職や学生を対象としたコーチング研修プログラムを実施し，その有効性と限界を示した．また，コーチングが企業の人材育成に活用されていることから，医療組織への導入を着想した．本稿ではこれらの研究を軸に，コーチングの医療関連分野への応用を概説する．
