8．癌手術後のCT検査は必要か

1　はじめに

　尿路性器癌術後のCT検査が必要かどうかの疑問に答えるのは非常に難しい。CTが癌の遠隔転移や局所再発を診断するのに優れた検査手段であることを検証することのみならず，再発の早期発見がその後の治療，予後，生活の質などに効果的に反映するかなども考慮に入れなければならないからである。

　CTの必要性を論じるには，個々の泌尿生殖器癌の性質上，個別に考える必要があると思われ，泌尿器科での代表的な癌について以下に考察してみる。
