前立腺肥大症に対するレーザー治療

要旨：前立腺肥大症に対する観血的治療として，経尿道的前立腺切除術（TURP）が広く行われている。しかしながら，巨大腺腫に対してのTURPは困難であり，被膜下前立腺摘除術が多く行われている。ホルミウムレーザー前立腺核出術（HoLEP）は，出血や低Na血症のリスクがきわめて低く，また術後入院期間も短いといった長所を有する。TURPや被膜下前立腺摘除術の次なる術式として注目されている。
