要旨　Partial androgen deficiency of aging male（PADAM）あるいはlate-onset hypogonadism（LOH）は，血中テストステロンが低下していること，自覚症状を有することで診断される。血中テストステロンの評価は遊離テストステロン測定にて行われ，8.5pg/ml未満を「低下」，8.5～11.8pg/mlを「ボーダーライン」と判定する。自覚症状の評価にはAMS rating scaleが有用であり，中等度以上の症状を有すれば自覚症状「あり」と判断する。Partial androgen deficiency of aging male（PADAM）あるいはlate-onset hypogonadism（LOH）と診断されるとアンドロゲン補充療法の適応となる。
