文献概要
要旨 間質性膀胱炎の病因はいまだ明らかではない。しかし,その病態は膀胱の肥満細胞の活性化とGAG(グリコサミノグリカン)の異常であるというコンセンサスが得られている。この2つを同時に説明しうる病態は,肥満細胞が提供する免疫活性物質がGAGが壊れて発現する接着因子に固層するという考えで,その病態は膀胱癌や細菌性膀胱炎と変わりはない。しかし,その病態のきっかけを作るためには膀胱上皮の損傷が必要で,その土壌は膀胱上皮の攻撃因子の増強とウロプラキンなどの防御因子の減弱が必要条件になる。今後ますますの研究が期待される。
