精巣の画像診断におけるポイント

要旨　精巣・陰囊の画像診断は，ドップラー超音波検査（ドップラーUS）が簡便，有用である。しかし，若年者では正常精巣の血流をドップラーUSで検出するのが困難なことが少なくないため，精巣捻転や急性精巣上体炎の鑑別は超音波検査で結論が得られないことがある。このようなときには，造影剤を用いるMR検査を追加して，精巣捻転に関して確定的な情報を得ることができる。また，腫瘍性病変ではドップラーUSとMRを併用して良悪性の鑑別，腫瘍の組織型の類推，局所進展度などを的確に把握することができる。
